Warrior’s Dance Testimonials – Students Share Their Stories

Warrior's Dance is unique in that it blends martial arts, movement, and athleticism into a form that challenges your complete body and mind. No class is the same, and yet each class ties together to promote maximum conditioning over time. David offers a level of expertise that supports your physical evolution, increasing awareness of your capabilities, your physiological presence, and your body's potential - all things that are critical for health, balance and well-being.

Warriors Dance has been both a delight and a challenge for me. At almost 50 now, and working a physical job outside for decades, my body had grown rigid. The first day of class, I discovered new muscle groups moving in unison. As class progressed, I began to shed those rigid layers. I am now learning to move with fluidity and becoming aware of my body and its potential. I am becoming stronger and more flexible in many ways now which are helping me at work.

As the instructor and creator, David Lader is a talented teacher of this blend of martial arts and dance. He has been a mentor and a guide for me to learn from and grow with. He possesses a sensitive way of teaching that takes all levels, abilities, and ages into account such that even older students like myself can benefit. David’s style is eclectic and unique; it refuses to end up in a fixed routine of movements that get repeated in every class… indeed every class is different, though related, and it is impossible to get bored. As we age, it is critical to keep moving, especially after we leave our 20’s and 30’s. It is easy to be in our later decades of life and end up injuring ourselves in our physical fitness regimens. With Warrior’s Dance, I can keep active in a way that is safe, challenging, fun, and inspiring. I intend to continue practicing Warrior’s Dance for years to come.

Warrior's Dance is the epitome of everything I have learned from my extensive exploration of movement, martial arts, yoga, and dance, and I appreciate the way we use powerful and meaningful music to inspire our training.
As an older and very active athlete of many years, I am grateful to have found in Warrior's Dance a certain softer approach to conditioning that is allowing me to stay very strong and age with such grace and dignity.
Thank you, David Lader, for providing all of us with this unique opportunity to dance and study in fellowship, love, and peace.

Warrior's Dance, as taught by David Lader, is a phenomenal art form that has introduced to me the discipline of martial arts with the movements of dance. It's an intense workout, yet an exhilarating feeling of accomplishment and connection with one's body. The interesting thing is that you discover balance, movement, and an understanding of your posture in every class as taught by this Master. I highly recomment it for anyone interested in self-development on a higher plane of mastery.

I have taught and practiced yoga for many years, and recently began Warrior's Dance. I immediately noticed results that I never experienced from yoga, including strengthening my body, an improvement in my balance, and better concentration. David has all the qualities that I would like to have as a teacher - humor, friendliness, and spontaneity. He brings out the best in people and makes it hard to resist his passion.
